Hours past and Kelsey let out a relieved sigh as she noticed she was finally done with her homework. Putting all the text books and other supplies back into her backpack, zipped it up, and then settled her backpack onto her bed. Suddenly, realization dawned at her, causing her to gasp and quickly settle onto her feet, opening the door and quickly jogged down the stairs. As soon as she stepped onto the floor, she quickly jerked her head towards the boys, who seemed to be staring at her in bewilderment. "The meeting!" She screeched, which made Nathan laugh. "Natalie had to cancel it for multiple reasons." She sighed, plopping herself onto the couch, digging her face into her hands. "Damn it.. I overreacted for no reason.." She muttered bitterly, which made her only to snicker as she faced over to Zack. "Zack here's dating Risi, right?" She quavered her head, still not being able to believe he got with that little imbecile. "Yep," Zack nodded, not even daring to look at Kelsey as he stared at something on the other side of the room. "What the fuck's wrong with you?" She spat, the air in the room suddenly turning edgy. Zack shrugged, "Nothing." "Don't lie to me, what's the attitude for? What did I do this time for Christ's sake?" She muttered in annoyance. "Nothing bro, don't worry about it." "The heck do you mean don't worry about it? You're my bro, of course I'm going to 'worry about it'." Turning to the guys, she gestured towards Zack. "What's up with him?" "He's still ticked about what went down with Risi earlier today." James answered for her, earning a hard stoned glare from Zack. Kelsey turned to face him, "You're upset because of Alex?" When Zack didn't say anything, Kelsey took it as a confirmation. "I was just messing with her bro, it didn't mean anything." "I wonder what you look like when you're being serious." Zack monotonously replied.

"I may not like the bitch but she's yours to deal with, not mine. She's a tempered one and god so help me, I'm not going to let her ass into our business. I don't trust her and neither should you, but, that's your mistake to make, not mine." Licking her lips, she stared intently at him, her eyes practically burning through his. "I'm happy you found someone, but don't think I'm going to let the things she did slide just because you're my boy." "You mean how she saved your ass from going to jail? That's nice." He hissed, clearly displeased with her words. "I had to scare her into working with me. If it wasn't for me threatening that bitch—" Before she could finish talking, a full blown fist flew at her face, hitting her right in the jaw. "Call her a bitch one more time," Zack pressed hard, warning her, his face soon growing red as a tomato. "What the fuck bro?!" Standing up, Kelsey nearly knocked over the chair next to her as she slammed her own fist into his nose, making Zack step back a couple of steps. Taking the hit, Zack held his nose, cursing under his breath. "Don't fucking disrespect my girl like that, Kelsey. If you had a boyfriend, how the fuck would you like it if I referred to him like that?" "You wouldn't have the chance, you'd be dead before you even got to register the rest of your sentence." She sneered, rocking her jaw back and forth to check if it was broken or not.

"The same thing lies here. You don't have to like her but respect me enough not to bad mouth her, especially after everything she did for you." He wiped his bloody nose. "She was the one consoling your ex when he would beat things up every night. She was the one who reassured him that your sorry ass was going to make it. She was the one who took care of him when we couldn't. She was here for him when you weren't." Kelsey stared at him with nothing but disbelief and hurt. She knew how much she had hurt her ex, the last thing she needed was to be reminded every five seconds about the mistake she made a couple months ago. "That's because she liked him! .. You know if I could have been there for him, I would've." She shakily spoke, her heart swelling up, wanting to cry at the moment. "But you weren't, Alex was and that's the reality of it all. Don't be mad at us you couldn't be there." Sighing, Zack ran his fingers through his hair. "Look, I know you're going through a rough time, we all are, but don't take it out on us. Especially since your ex was a complete retard." Kelsey balled her hands into fists. "Throw that in my face one more time and not only will I bash your fucking face in, but I will also rip you to shreds you little bitch!" Knowing that she'll do something she'll then regret later, Kelsey quickly jogged up the stairs, angrily slamming it shut in the process.

Her day today was an annoying bitch. All she could think about was how she was going to contain herself from ripping Zack apart and feeding him to the dogs for ever opening his mouth to her the way that he did. And all because of the good ol' Alex Risi, that dumb bitch. Kelsey blamed her for everything. If she would've just minded her own god damn business, and never joined Luke's side, none of the crap that occurred between them would've happened and maybe they could've been civil with one another. The bitch may have saved her life, but that's only because she didn't want her ass handed to her. Cross her and she's not afraid to kill you—female or not—and she knew that. Smart on her part, she knew what she had to do to stay alive, but, now she's got her hold on Zack and the idiot is too blinded by love to see her for what she truly is—a hypocritical little twat. She was too preoccupied with various thoughts that she hardly even noticed she exited her room. Making her way downstairs, she slowly started heading over to where the guys were all settled in on the couch, talking amongst themselves, huddled in a secretive position. She shook her head, which caused Zack to grumble under his breath.

"Do you have something to say there, buddy?" She spat with heavy sarcasm. "Why don't you speak up instead of acting like a little bitch always saying crap under your breath?" Zack sprang to his feet, maneuvering his way over to her. "I wasn't saying anything you piece of shit, so, why don't you calm the fuck down and jump off that high horse you're sitting on?" He snarled, his face hot with rage. "The second you stop acting like a little cunt over some girl, maybe I will." That was enough to send Zack shoving her backwards, where she then retaliated with a shove of her own and before they knew it, they had fists flying left and right. "Enough!" Nathan barked, standing between them while James pulled Zack away and Bryan held onto her. "This is fucking idiotic! What are you guys? Five years old?" He spat, furious with them. "I've had enough of this bull crap to last me a lifetime. You guys have been best friends for as long as I could remember and you're just going to throw it all away from a bunch of nonsense?" "He's the one who fucking started this all!" She defended herself with complete disbelief that she was even enviably being blamed for this. Wiping her lip with the back of her hand, she wasn't surprised to see blood. "Well maybe if you'd shut that smart ass mouth of yours, we wouldn't be in this predicament!" Nathan hotly shot back.

"What the fuck are you? Jerry Springer?" She spat, pulling away from Bryan's grasp. "I'll say and do whatever the fuck I want—" "And that's what gets you into these type of messes!" Nathan countered with a piercing breath, shaking his head. "We have business to take care of and the last thing I need is to make sure you guys don't go at each others throats." Shaking his head, he placed his hands low on his hips. "I feel like I need to fucking put you guys on a timeout in order to calm you down." "A timeout?" She chuckled. "I don't know what the hell you've been smoking but you need to come back down to earth and act like the Nathan I knew and grew up with because this Buddha, I'm all for peace, shit is driving me insane." Zack stifled a laugh, earnestly agreeing with her even if he didn't want to. "She has a point." He added once Nathan shot her a glare. Nathan shook his head, a grin falling in place of his scowl, feeling accomplished. "Hell, maybe I should be a 'Buddha, I'm all for peace', person more often if it gets you two to quit bickering." "No, thank you. I had enough of that shit to last me a lifetime. Now, toughen up or else I'll be forced to whoop your ass." She smirked. "I can take you any day, Kelsey." Nathan threw down the gauntlet, smiling in under come victory. She elevated her eyebrows, amused. "Is that a challenge I hear?" "Only if you want it to be, Jones." Nathan disputed, grinning wickedly in her direction. Shrugging, she stared at him innocently for a while before she charged towards him and before she could make a move, she let a gasp escape her lips as she felt his strong hands on her waist, lifting her up to his shoulder. Frowning, she kicked, trying to make him drop her. The guys laughed, watching as Nathan carried her on his shoulder. Just as she was about to escape, they were interrupted by a blaring sound that came from somebody's phone.

Letting Kelsey go and lowered her to the floor, she watched as he dug into the pocket of his jeans before taking out his blackberry. "Hello?" He spoke once he pressed it to his ear. A few words were exchanged in which they all listened in, not making a sound. When Nathan ended the phone call, Kelsey pulled a frown on her lips. "What was that all about?" "It looks like we got ourselves trouble on our hands guys." Nathan looked at each and every one of them. "Luke just stepped foot onto our territory."
